A call for a Group of the AUIS Students: Donate to the Victim's of the Van Earthquake.

Oct 25th, 2011, Sulaimani-Iraq- A number of the AUIS students announced a campaign to collect money for the victim's of the Wan event. Many students start posting their words on their facebook walls and calling to donate for the victim's of the event.

They asked all the AUIS students and faculty staff members to help thousands of people who absolutely need help.

"Generous and kind students and staff members who want to help Wan city can give donations within AUI-S." posted by Nuha Osman, an AUIS student."Your donations will surely help thousands of people who were made homeless by the overwhelming earthquake yesterday. Thousands of people are waiting our donations since they are sleeping in the cold and open air. Unfortunately, according to the reporters, the Turkish government is very slow to recover this disaster. Let’s make an effort to help Wan City."

Some members of the group who organized the campaign told the Third Eye that  there would be a box within AUIS Campus from tomorrow on and people who would like to donate could put their money on that box that would be delivered to the people in Wan very soon.
