In a meeting that was lasted for almost two hours and  was held in the 5 Azar hall in Rania at , more than one hundred and fifty high-school students and teachers from both the 5 Azar and Kewarash high-school attended the meeting.
At first, Sherwan Hamza, an English teacher in the 5 Azar high-school, welcomed the AUIS delegation.
"We would like to warmly well come the AUIS representatives," he said in Kurdish. "It is a great honor for all of us to host the AUIS representatives today."
After that, Mahdi Kurdi, an AUIS student who companied the AUIS delegation and translated the speeches, briefly introduced the AUIS members to the audiences and explained the agenda of the meeting.
Later on, Mrs. Warfield explained several points about AUIS such us, the process of applying to AUIS, the majors that AUIS offers today, the quality of the system of education at AUIS, things about tuition and fees and the entire financial aid process.
Next, Sherihan Khalill briefly talked about the writing program at AUIS. She explained the way AUIS helped its students to be advanced writers and English speakers. She said that  she was using the same strategy to teach the students here similar to the way she was used to do with the American students in the State.
later on, Peter Friedrich ran to the stage and  brought more fruit to the meeting by using his drama skills in front of the eyes of the audiences.
"Raise your hand f you play soccer and you are the best player in the room," he asked the audiences." Raise your hand if you want to play in the next world cup." These were the words that Peter attracted the audience's attention to concentrate on his words until he got to his last point when he granted the students that AUIS offered "The best English Program not only in Iraq, but also around the world."
Last but not least, the meeting was ended by the open-question section that provided opportunities for all the students to ask  any questions they had about AUIS generally, especially the process of applying to AUIS, the concerns they had about financial aid and tuition and fees, the major courses that AUIS offers. It was really fascinating to see that most of the students asked their questions in a fair and good  English, and they were very excited and enthusiastic to know about AUIS and its curriculum.
The event ended by taking group pictures and individual discussions between the students and AUIS delegation.
